Women artists and their thoughts
The opening of the Women and Art Exhibition was opened on 6th March 2019 at the Fondation Suzanne Bastien Art Gallery, Pango Road. This exhibition celebrate’s women’s talents in arts. This is was opened in collaborative with International Women’s Day on the 8th of March.
The Fondation Suzanne Bastien presents women’s art, craft, 3 dimension work and writing with personal comments from the artists. The exhibition talks of great things, traditional life, and the many issues for women. Art challenges the beholder; evokes feelings, stimulates creative thinking and gives pleasure. It leaves the voice of the artist to prevail, rather than the authorities.
It allows strong comments and celebration, artistic freedom and discussion.
